Somewhat Houses
I live in a certain town in Utah. I won’t say where it is, but it is safe to say that the town is a little cruddy, and that is completely on purpose. The main problem with my area is that the people who own all the houses and the land are not not worried at all about the state of them, and since none of the tenants will ever be owners they have no desire to fix anything up only to benefit their stingy landlords.
For instance, the kitchen cabinets in my last TWO house have not even really been kitchen cabinets. For some reason the landlords think that makeshift shelves loosely attached to the walls are good enough for the tenants. That is somewhat true, since I suppose they are actually “good enough,” but it is still a little insulting.
Utah is a more diverse place than people think, again that is also a characteristic of where I live. There just needs to a better caliber of landlord in my area. Nearly all of the people I write my rent checks to have only been concerned with that money, and that I don’t mess up their house any more than it already is.
